Who we are
Diamond Garage Ltd. ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at [email protected] or +44 7719 595 797. Our registered address is 180c Queens Drive Walton, L4 6XD.
What we collect
- Quote & contact forms: name, phone, email, vehicle registration and the details you provide about your vehicle or issue.
- Communications: messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Server logs: IP address, browser type and page requested, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- Analytics, advertising and session-recording data: see "Tracking technologies" below.
Why we use it & legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote — UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(b): steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
- To carry out the repair or service you've booked — Art. 6(1)(b): performance of a contract.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse — Art. 6(1)(f): our legitimate interest in protecting our service.
- To meet legal and accounting obligations — Art. 6(1)(c): compliance with a legal obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (e.g. email/hosting providers, accounting), and only as required by law. Where data is processed outside the UK/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Pages that show our location embed Google Maps, and pages load fonts from Google Fonts. These services are operated by Google and may receive your IP address. Clicking a WhatsApp link opens the WhatsApp service, which handles your message under its own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that don't lead to a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Customer records linked to a job: up to 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements.
- Server logs: typically 30 days.
Tracking technologies
We use the following third-party tools on this site. They each set cookies and/or similar identifiers in your browser, and may receive your IP address, device and browser information, and details of how you interact with the pages you visit.
- Google Tag Manager — loads and manages the other tags listed below.
- Google Analytics 4 — measures site usage so we can understand which pages are useful and where to improve. Operated by Google LLC / Google Ireland.
- Microsoft Clarity — records anonymised session replays and heatmaps so we can see how visitors navigate the site and fix usability problems. Clarity automatically masks form fields and personal text. Operated by Microsoft Corporation.
- Meta Pixel — measures and improves the effectiveness of any advertising we run on Facebook or Instagram. Operated by Meta Platforms Ireland.
Embedded Google Maps and Google Fonts may also set their own cookies when those parts of the page load.
Cookies & your choices
The legal basis for analytics and advertising tracking is your consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR Reg. 6). You can:

- Use your browser's "Do Not Track" or built-in tracking protection.
- Opt out of Google Analytics directly via the Google Analytics Opt-out add-on.
- Manage Meta advertising preferences in your Meta ad settings.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have it corrected if it's wrong, or erased when it's no longer needed.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
